ABOUT

I’m a director and DoP based in Utrecht, the Netherlands. My work moves between music videos and narrative film, with a particular interest in visually striking stories that live somewhere between the tangible and the abstract.

I’m drawn to projects that explore positionality and the more elusive sides of a story. My approach is often intuitive and hands-on, finding a visual language that can exist somewhere between reality and imagination.

As a nonbinary maker, I’m especially drawn to queer, intersectional, and socially engaged stories. I enjoy working with people who bring different perspectives to the table, and value open and collaborative ways of making films.

Alongside directing and cinematography, I work across the filmmaking process as a 1st AC, editor, VFX artist, and colourist. Moving between creative and technical roles allows me to stay closely connected to a project from its first ideas through to the final frame.
